Time to update

I have not visited shotshack for a little while, time I came back and wrote up on a few things.

Firstly i would like to thank the people who visit my site and looked at my photographs throughout 2011

So without further ado.. a few of things that happened in December..

Might as well start with Christmas

Mum, Pen and I before anyone else arrived ...starting with Proseco

and the tree with heads

Paula and Tim arrived from Cirencester. Pen and I cooked the main,, Paula had made the starter a lovely mint pea soup with cheese scones.  Mum cooked her own vegeterian christmas pudding which is so much nicer than the normal one.  So for the last 2 years her flipping cooker has failed however we knew what to expect and sure enough it cut out ha ha.. luckily we had planned in advance and the turkey was cooked.
Tom arrived with Gemma, Chris, Jakob and Harrison.
Jakob bought his new camera and i hope they still have the ones he took.. as they should be quite amusing.

Harrison (the beast from the east) as gem calls him

Taken on Boxing day,, so my photos dont run in sequence.... i must try harder
One of the best taken over christmas,, Tim with Jakob and Millie

and Jakob

going well so far

Paula and Tim found a good utube video that was funny..

whilst Gem and Tom watched something else

i have no idea what they were watching however it was amusing to them.

Jakob and Paula had to go to 'The Factory' at least 10 times..

One of Jakob's games,, where everything has to be repeated in the same order.  This is where it starts (in birds house)'The bottle is empty.. OH NO,, it has to be refilled.. so jakob goes up the garden past the shed
places the bottle behind the shed.  Paula HAS to follow.  then they both go back in Bird's house wait maybe 3-5 seconds and Jakob declares that he has to go to the factory as the bottle will be filled up.. and again. again and again.. Paula was extremely patient and played the game till it's end, mercifully Gem called him back inside.
We are a very creative family and have all learnt that stories with Jakob must be able to withstand repetition. Poor mum bitterly regrets the story about jakob on the hobby horse where he fell off and then had to be carried to the sofa and then fixed better (in the correct order by the doctor) only to fall off the damned thing again and again and again. ha ha. (think the horse has been hidden in case the story has to be resurrected as he has an excellent memory.

Onto Boxing Day,, which was much the same as before with the lovely addition of Gina, Ricky and Millie down from Essex.
